Meet Carrie…

Dr. Carrie Nassif, PhD (she/her)
Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Carrie has 25+ years of clinical experience. She received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of South Dakota with research interests in creative personality types and diversity.

She interned at the Counseling & Psychological Services of Montana State University and the Crow Agency Indian Health Services in eastern Montana.

Dr. Carrie was a tenured & promoted faculty member of FHSU’s Psychology Department and staff Psychologist in NW Kansas where she taught and supervised students, conducted research, and participated in extensive community service.

Dr. Carrie served as Clinical Director of the Larned Correctional Mental Health Facility for a year before opening her private practice in NW Kansas.

Now, she continues her private practice with Kansans via telemental health and is expecting to begin seeing New Mexico therapy clients in August or September with an emphasis on creative adults and partner therapy.

Dr. Carrie is currently accepting new clients for enhancing everyday creativity and life coaching, as well as catalyzing creativity practices for writers and artists everywhere.

Carrie Nassif is also a published poet: lithopaedion and necessary and sufficient conditions: the vulture girl (forthcoming in early 2024).

She is the parent of two amazing adult children, a bearded dragon, and a 13 year-old 65lb lap dog.
